Big Bird, an iconic resident of Sesame Street, is often shown wearing various neckties for party scenes or fancy events. Other times, he sometimes wears a tuxedo dickey or bowtie. For on-location appearances and walk-around versions, the tie is used to cover the vision hole in Big Bird's neck.
