Big Bird Goes Hollywood is a Sesame Street Live show, produced by VEE Corporation in 1986.
Plot[]
Guy Smiley wins a movie studio but must put together a feature film in one hour. Director Big Bird and the rest of the Sesame Street gang answer Smiley's call for help. The Muppets film scenes from various genres, from Dr. Count Von Countenstein creating a Frankenstein-esque monster, an outer space adventure, and Grover performing in a jungle tribute to Tarzan. Meanwhile, Izzie Great and Wuzzy Wonderful, both of whom had lost the studio to Smiley, attempt to sabotage the gang's efforts.

Notes[]
- In later editions of the show, Izzie Great and Wuzzy Wonderful are replaced by Freddie Fantastic, a more contemporary Muppet character voiced by Jerry Nelson. Herry, Wooly, and Furlin are also dropped from the cast, the "Hollywood Rap" is replaced by "Freddie's Song" performed by Freddie and the ensemble, and the Count's Frankenstein number is cut, replaced with a scene called "Election Party" where Big Bird pretends to run for President of the United States.
