Big Time Rush is a boy band that formed in 2009, simultaneously created with the Nickelodeon sitcom of the same name that aired from 2009 to 2013. Members include Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson.
In 2011, Big Time Rush performed at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, which also featured an appearance by Kermit the Frog. During rehearsals, Kermit was photographed with Schmidt and Maslow.
The band's song "Beautiful Christmas" has been performed at Sesame Street Christmas Parade.
