Bill Pierce (b. 1935) is a photographer who worked for Children's Television Workshop, providing many promotional, behind the scenes, and publicity photos of Sesame Street and the Muppet characters, including the 1970 cover of Time magazine. He supplied photos for the in-house character style guides and his work can be seen in Big Bird's Busy Book.
Pierce was a regular photographer for TIME as well as U.S News & World Report, The New York Times, and Popular Photography.
