Birgitta Götestam (1946-2018), full name Ragnhild Birgitta Götestam, was the co-writer and a director for Svenska Sesam, the Swedish co-production of Sesame Street. She also had a minor role on the show.
She wrote many theater plays as well as TV scripts. She is also an experienced actress and director, for both theater and television. In addition to Svenska Sesam, she and co-writer Peter Flack (who she was married to from 1974 to 1986) wrote many revues and children shows together..
