Bob Shipstad in 1980
Bob Shipstad is a producer who was originally a producer with Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies (co-founded by his father Eddie Shipstad) and Holiday on Ice. He first worked with the Sesame Street characters there before producing the Sesame Street Live shows for many years. He also produced The Muppet Show: On Tour and The Muppet Show on Tour: 2nd Edition.
Shipstad produced TV projects related to the stage shows, such as Snoopy Directs the Ice Follies (1973). His company also produced stage shows for Sea World. He later left show business and went into real estate.
