Bonnie Franklin (b. 1944) is a comic actress best known for her starring role on the TV show One Day at a Time (1975-84).

In 1986, Franklin appeared in the first season of the home video series Shalom Sesame, a co-production between Sesame Street and the Israeli Sesame show, Rechov Sumsum. In some segments, she would introduce us to some Hebrew alphabet letter and teach us some Hebrew words that start with that certain letter.

She also appeared in I Love Liberty, a special that featured appearances by the Muppets.
