Bruce Rumpelstiltskin appeared in a Sesame Street News Flash sketch in 1975. In the sketch, Rumpelstiltskin appears to the Miller's Daughter and threatens to take her baby if she can't guess his name. She can't, so he grabs the baby carriage -- with Kermit inside.
