"Brush Boogie" is a lively number performed by the Shagri-Las, a trio of blue, female monsters about all the things you can brush. Maria brushes her hair, Luis brushes paint onto a chair, Mr. Handford brushes pans to get them clean, Herry brushes himself in the tub, and a set of teeth brush themselves with a toothbrush, while kids and the Martians brush various objects.

Notes

• The sets of teeth are performed by Martin P. Robinson and David Rudman, and the toothbrush by Joey Mazzarino. Rudman, Mazzarino, and Jim Martin puppeteer the Shagri-Las.

• This segment was directed by Jon Stone and taped on November 8, 1990.

• After its first airing, new sound effects were added throughout the song.
