The Bubble Bubbies are a bird-like species seen during the second season of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, notably in the episode "This for That." Boober explains to Mokey that the soap stones he uses to do laundry are made by them, but runs into a caveat when the Bubbies demand a strawberry for their work. While they're not seen making the soap stone onscreen, a part of their secret formula is on display when they emit bubbles from their beaks whenever speaking.
The puppets used for the Bubble Bubbies were initially made for the original series, undergoing several redesigns throughout the show's run. For The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss the puppets were given purple fur and feathers and have since retained these features by their appearance on Back to the Rock.
