A bumblebee appears in the Mother Goose Stories episode "Hector Protector."
Hector Protector wanders the town meeting various citizens of the kingdom who have been magically transformed into animals. While talking to a cow (who was the judge), a bumblebee approaches. Hector asks who he is, the bee responds "I'm a bumblebee." Hector clarifies his question by asking the bee what he was before the wicked witch bewitched him, and the bee responds "Oh, I've always been a bumblebee. If she put a spell on me, I'd be a person." The bumblebee laughs and buzzes away much to the annoyance of Hector and the judge.
