Bushman Bill appeared on Sesame Street as a wild-haired disc jockey who introduced the number one hit, "D Duah Duah" by Didi O'Day and the Dew Drops.
He is full of energy and speaks very loud. The character's name, voice, goatee, and occupation are references to radio DJ Wolfman Jack. In the original script for the piece, he instead had the thematic name of "Dino the DJ."[1]
