Grover leads his troupe of campers into the woods to educate them on trees. However, he mistakenly is under the impression the various parts are called the "stem," the "skin," the "stick," and the "feathers"; his campers point out the correct terminology. The other part he is not familiar with is the brown, furry part, which turns out to be a bear. They all flee in terror (Grover: "Counselors first!"), but the bear just wants to join the camp and hear more about trees.
