"Can You Picture That?" is performed by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem in The Muppet Movie, as they disguise Fozzie's Studebaker.
Dr. Teeth, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Animal, Zoot and Scooter all sing as they slap paint on the car, apparently at random.
The Electric Mayhem performed an abridged version of the song in the special, The Muppets Go Hollywood. The band came together to perform the song again in 2001 for The Muppet Show Live. Both these instances have the characters lip-sync to the original recording from The Muppet Movie soundtrack.
A new recording was made in 2012 for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the band was joined by Travis Barker on drums.
The band later performed a new recording of the song as the opening number during their appearance at the 2016 Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. The same version was used as a part of their sets during The Muppets Take the Bowl in 2017 and at The Muppets Take the O2 in 2018. This version was released as a sing-along video and as a single ahead of the release of The Muppets Mayhem.
The song was used once again, with new instrumentation and new vocals from Floyd, Janice, and Zoot, in The Muppets Mayhem episode of the same name.
