Kermit the Frog as Captain Abraham Smollett was featured in the seventh series of Palisades Toys' line of Jim Henson's Muppets action figures. He was the second Muppet Treasure Island figure to be released, after the Sam Arrow Action Figure. The Ghost of Sam Arrow Action Figure and a set of Cabin Boy Gonzo and Rizzo Action Figures would be released later as exclusives, to complete the line of Treasure Island characters.
Polly Lobster is included as a pack-in accessory figure. Smollett's hat is magnetic. His sword sheath fits on his chest and he can either keep his sword inside the sheath or hold it in his hand.
