Carlo was a youth who appeared on Sesame Street from 1993 to 1998. He was a student in Gordon's science class, according to a 1993 episode, and was later employed at Hooper's Store.

Carlo also appeared in such specials and videos as Sesame Street's All-Star 25th Birthday: Stars and Streets Forever, Get Up and Dance, and Elmo Saves Christmas, among others. He also sang "My Name" with Maya Angelou, Elmo, and Lexine.
