Caroly Wilcox began working in the NY Muppet Workshop in 1969 -when Sesame Street started up. She became the supervisor for Sesame Street Muppets, and remained so until 1990 - when she retired. She was the expert Muppet maker. Most (if not all) Muppet builders were trained by Wilcox.
