Ideal Toys produced some of the earliest Muppet toys ever made -- Jim Henson's original line of Muppet puppets. Ideal also made some of the early Sesame Street toys and games in the early 1970s. In 1984, Ideal was acquired by View-Master in 1984. Ideal produced the Big Bird StoryMagic toy in the mid-80s, and in the late 1980s, Ideal continued the Muppet Babies line first produced by Durham Industries, another View-Master brand.
