Quotes[]
Fraggle Rock episode pages are the only ones where we have a dedicated Quotes section. Is this really necessary? I don't think a single quote from the episode gives much of an insight to the show, and we could jsut as easily put it under the picture. - The reason for it is, basically, the quotes were part of the Fraggle Guide in Muppet Zine. So yeah, feel free to re-arrange. I like having most of them myself, especially for episodes I haven't seen, but moving to captions is a good idea. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 05:04, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, quotes are tough. I like that they bring a little flavor to the pages. On the other hand, which quotes to use and which not to use is a matter of opinion, and it's easy for Frackle kids to think that they can add every line in the episode to the quotes section. - Removing the big section labeled QUOTES discourages the listing-of-every-line-of-the-episode thing. Keeping them as picture captions limits them somewhat to the image being used to represent the episode. - Well, picture selection is a bit different, I think. Yeah, somebody chooses it, but its based on what images a person has available, and if nobody else has done so, well, not much room for complaint. Unless it's a blurry image, or from the wrong episode, or so vague as not to be illustrative at all. It has sometimes bugged me slightly, however, when pairing quote captions with images which clearly don't match, though it can lead to amusing results such as on Nicky Holiday. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 13:42, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
