Actors vs Cameos
I just noticed that some actors appear in both categories for the same role (i.e., Telly Savalas in The Muppet Movie). Should someone like him (or, say, F. Murray Abraham) be classified both as a Muppet Movie Actor and a Muppet Movies Cameo? My instinct says you're either one or the other for the same role, but I was wondering what other people thought. -- Peter (talk) 16:59, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- We discussed this way way back at Category talk:Muppet Movies Cameos (and it's defined on that category page), but yeah, the idea was to double categorize if it was a cameo as a *character*, cameos only if it's as one's self (Edgar Bergen, Hollywood Hogan, Ed Koch) or a cameo as an established character which is tantamount to the same thing (Joshua Jackson). I'm open to revisiting it though, but I think just fix anyone who should be in both but isn't. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:49, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
