Charlton Heston (1924-2008) was an Academy Award-winning American film actor who starred in such films as the 1956 version of The Ten Commandments (as Moses), Ben-Hur (1959), and Planet of the Apes (1968). He also played Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974).
In 2001, he supplied the voice of The Mastiff in the Creature Shop effects film Cats & Dogs.
