Charo is a Spanish-American actor, singer, and flamenco guitarist. She came to the US in the 1960s and found fame guest starring on shows such as Laugh-In, The Tonight Show, and Hollywood Squares. She was a recurring guest on The Love Boat as entertainer April Lopez.
She appeared with Kermit the Frog on Hollywood Squares in January 2003, along with other celebrities including Brad Garrett and John Ritter. In May of the same year, she appeared alongside Miss Piggy on "Blondes Have More Fun" week.
Other credits include The Suite Life on Deck, That '70s Show, Fantasy Island, Pee-wee's Playhouse Christmas Special and multiple appearances at The Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
