Chico the Magnificent is a circus performer encountered in the 1983 storybook The Muppets on the Road. When the Muppets arrive at the circus trying to make a buck (or $1.39, the going rate for circus performers), Chico quickly loads Kermit the Frog, Rowlf the Dog, Scooter and Beaker into cannons and shoots them toward the sky. Thankfully, the group manages to land in a water tank and survive the experience.
