Chief Kirby is a fire chief in Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse. He is first seen with his battalion members responding to a reported fire in Oscar's trash can, which turns out to be a false alarm.
Later on, he leads Big Bird and other select street residents on a musical tour around the firehouse. The tour is cut short after a report for a structure fire comes in.
