Chipowski is the leader of the Smart Cookies, a team of crime-fighting cookies (along with rookie Cookie Monster) in the Sesame Street segment, "Smart Cookies." He typically gets frustrated with Cookie, whose lack of self-control causes issues as they try to stop The Crumb. His mother made an appearance in one segment.
He appears in The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo as an audience member. The puppet, stripped of its limbs, later participated in a cover of "C is for Cookie" in a 2023 YouTube medley video.
