Stapleton on The Muppets Mayhem
Chris Stapleton (b. 1978) is an American country singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. His songs have appeared on many artists' albums including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, and Taylor Swift. He has co-written with several artists as well, including Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, and Ed Sheeran.
Stapleton appeared in The Muppets Mayhem episode "Can You Picture That" as himself for a news program retrospective on the Electric Mayhem's career. He was also intended to appear in a later episode, performing a protest song written by Lips (in his mission to save the world), but due to scheduling conflicts, the scene was not shot.[1]
Stapleton also appeared on Sesame Street in Season 55, singing a song with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Ernie, Bert, Grover, and Cookie Monster. (First: Episode 5528)
