Chris Thatcher is a puppeteer and actor who worked as an additional performer on Muppets Most Wanted and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Thatcher performs the character of Shloppy, the star of the children's web series Shloppy TV for Bogglesox TV. Thatcher also performed the roles of Trekkie Monster, Nicky, and one of the Bad Idea Bears in a UK tour of Avenue Q, and has acted in theatrical productions of Of Mice and Men, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Grease, and The Three Musketeers.
On television, Thatcher has played the role of Bertie Beep and His Talking Sheep in an episode of the CBeebies series Grandpa in My Pocket. Thatcher has also released an album, Jesus Chris Superstar, an adults-only collection of musical comedy theatre songs.
