DEBUT | 2002 |
Christmas Carolers have figured prominently in many Muppet Christmas productions. In 2002, a quartet of Anything Muppet carolers appeared to serenade Elmo and his goldfish Dorothy in Elmo's World: Happy Holidays!.
Unfortunately, the carolers only knew one song โ the chorus to "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" โ but they added some variety with a special chorus for Dorothy, "We Fish You a Merry Christmas."
The joke was that, while the carolers had beautiful singing voices, their speaking voices were abrasive and annoying.
The group's performers included David Rudman, Joey Mazzarino, Carmen Osbahr, and Stephanie D'Abruzzo. The male carolers were Orange Gold and Lavender Anything Muppets, and the females were Green and Lavender.
