Christoph Waltz, waltzing with Sweetums in Muppets Most Wanted.

Christoph Waltz (b. 1956) is an Austrian actor who spent years on stage and in German film and TV. He rose to international attention, however, as a two-time Academy Award (and BAFTA and Golden Globe) winner for Best Supporting Actor: first as brutal Col. Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and then as Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained (also by Tarantino).

In 2012, during pre-production of Muppets Most Wanted, Waltz was originally offered the principal role of the Interpol inspector, but declined due to schedule conflicts.[1] Although the part went to Ty Burrell, Waltz remained in talks with producers[2] and later found time to film a cameo in the final film.
