Christopher Clumsy is a genial but clumsy character who debuted in the Sesame Street comic strip in 1971. Situations frequently dealt with Clumsy's attempts to avoid falling into a hole. At other times, he attempted to demonstrate directional concepts or teach about shapes.
Along with Jasper and Julius, Christopher Clumsy appeared on Sesame Street itself in animated cartoon segments, beginning in Season 4.

- Shapes (First: Episode 0416)
Christopher Clumsy demonstrates shapes with a circle as the last thing where the circle rolled away off screen.
- Jumping over a hole (First: Episode 0439)
Christopher Clumsy, to avoid falling into a hole, jumps over it... and lands in another hole and shouts "nobody told me there were two holes!"
- Jumping over another hole (First: Episode 0439)
Christopher Clumsy jumps over a hole and says that he fooled the viewer. He then walks into a wall.
- Feet (First: Episode 0455)
Christopher Clumsy shows different things his feet can do. Like dancing, jumping, and then kicking a ball where he accidentally hit a dog off screen with the ball while showing that his feet can run while being chased by the dog.
