Christopher Clumsy is a genial but clumsy character who debuted in the Sesame Street comic strip in 1971. Situations frequently dealt with Clumsy's attempts to avoid falling into a hole. At other times, he attempted to demonstrate directional concepts or teach about shapes.

Along with Jasper and Julius, Christopher Clumsy appeared on Sesame Street itself in animated cartoon segments, beginning in Season 4.

Individual Segments

Christopher Clumsy demonstrates shapes with a circle as the last thing where the circle rolled away off screen.

Christopher Clumsy, to avoid falling into a hole, jumps over it... and lands in another hole and shouts "nobody told me there were two holes!"

Christopher Clumsy jumps over a hole and says that he fooled the viewer. He then walks into a wall.
