Christopher Lloyd (b. 1938) is an actor known for his often eccentric, mostly comic portrayals. In 1999, Lloyd appeared as the White Knight in the Creature Shop TV movie Alice in Wonderland. He provided the voice of Dr. Bonanodon in The Jim Henson Company's 2013 feature film Sid the Science Kid: The Movie.
Making his film debut in 1975 as mental patient Taber in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Lloyd went on to appear as "Reverend" Jim Ignatowski on the sitcom Taxi (for which he won two Emmy Awards), Doc Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future movies (a role which he reprised in The Earth Day Special), Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel, and the villainous Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
Lloyd's other film credits include To Be or Not to Be (with Mel Brooks and Charles Durning), Clue (as Professor Plum), the 1993 film Dennis the Menace (as Switchblade Sam), and Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead. Returning to television, Lloyd played Professor Harold March on the short-lived FOX sitcom Stacked and was heard as the evil Hacker on the Nelvana animated series Cyberchase, seen on PBS.
