Cinema Club was a low-cost home video distributor based in the United Kingdom that operated under a joint venture agreement between Video Collection International and Columbia TriStar Home Video. Much of Cinema Club's releases were re-releases of Columbia TriStar's back catalogue, including those from Jim Henson Home Entertainment.
The joint venture agreement between both companies was terminated at the end of May of 2002.[1] Afterwards, VCI kept hold of Cinema Club who began re-releasing DVDs, including Gulliver's Travels.
