Clancy

Clancy is a dark green Anything Monster with a pink pear-shaped nose and a furry black unibrow.

He made several background appearances on Sesame Street from the late 1970’s up to the mid-80’s. He also appeared (with slightly modified eyes) in the sketch Hill Street Twos, where he is referred to as “Officer Clancy.”

Among his performers were Frank Oz, Richard Hunt, Brian Muehl, and Martin P. Robinson.
