- Werve's sculpture of Mary and Jesus Christ, Virgin and Child, was featured in the Sesame Street special, Don't Eat the Pictures. The piece served as the catalyst for Olivia's song, "Mothers and Children," as she and two kids come across it while searching for Big Bird. As she points out the depiction of a mother and child, she sings about all the other artworks that do the same.
