Clem is Karli's foster father and Dalia's husband. He was first introduced in a series of videos for Sesame Street in Communities in May 2019 about foster care.
He made his first appearance on the Sesame Street series in Episode 5127.
Clem also made appearances in a series of videos about substance abuse, released to the site in October 2019. It is explained that Clem and Dalia are fostering Karli while her mother receives treatment for her addiction.
