Palisades Muppet Figures | |
Character | Clifford |
Date | Winter 2003 |
Series | 6 |
Variants | teal repaint |
Palisades Toys released Clifford as part of the sixth series of Jim Henson's Muppets action figures.
Two versions of the figure were released: the regular figure with a dark blue shirt and a red chair, and a repaint with a light blue shirt and cell phone and a black chair.
The repaint was originally planned to have some very wild colors, but when it was time to get it approved by Henson, the people at The Jim Henson Company mistakenly thought that was supposed to be the regular figure and rejected it. It wasn't until it was time to approve of both the regular and repaint figures that The Jim Henson Company learned their mistake.[1] The figure was originally going to come with video tapes, however the tapes weren't included in the release figure.[2]
