Colin Fox (b. 1938) is a Canadian character actor and voice artist, heard on Dog City as Clawed Badly in "Cats 'N Dogs."
Fox starred on the supernatural soap opera Strange Paradise (1969-1970) as Jean Paul Desmond, while later regular TV roles include chef Fritz Brenner on Nero Wolfe (directed by George Bloomfield) and Dr. Anton Hendricks on Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. Often cast as professors, villains, or executive types, he appeared on Goosebumps (the shopkeeper in "The Haunted Mask" and its sequel), Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Avonlea, The Equalizer (with Edward Woodward), Law & Order, Spenser: For Hire, Shining Time Station, Puppets Who Kill (with Dan Redican), and the 1980s Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Film credits include Canadian horror films Murder by Phone, Food of the Gods II, and Scanners III, as well as Tommy Boy, Down to Earth (with Chris Rock), Mrs. Winterbourne (with Brendan Fraser), Daylight (with Sylvester Stallone), and In Love & War (with Sandra Bullock), as well as playing The Devil in the Disney TV movie Angels in the Infield (with David Alan Grier). His credits as a voice actor include Silver Surfer (Uatu the Watcher), The Legend of Zelda (King Harkinian), and Nelvana productions Rupert (The Professor), The Care Bears Adventures in Wonderland, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, and Beetlejuice.
Fox acted on stage, including the Stratford Festival and in the 1985 Broadway play Pack of Lies (with Dana Ivey), and has been a frequent narrator for classical music concerts. He played Pablo Picasso in a CBC radio play and was heard frequently on the 1980s horror anthology Nightfall.
