Colin Purves is a puppeteer who was one of the three people in London to be selected from a 1994 Muppeteer workshop to join the Jim Henson Company. He puppeteered background characters on Muppet Treasure Island and later served as an additional puppeteer on several other Muppet and Creature Shop productions.
Apart from his Henson work, Purves puppeteered on a Spitting Image New Year's Eve special, Our House, Squeak!, and Captain Abercromby.
