Notes[]
- This segment was directed by Bob Schwarz and was taped on October 14, 1983.[1]
- Max, who made a named appearance in Episode 1850, is only referred to as "monster" in the script for this segment.[1] Likewise, the album Splish Splash: Bath Time Fun credits the song to "A Monster." The video Monster Hits refers to him as "Furline Huskie," referencing country singer Ferlin Husky.
- ASCAP Work ID 498075802 lists Sam Pottle (who died five years prior) as the composer of the song (under "Sesame Street Cues"), but Splish Splash: Bath Time Fun, Monster Hits, and U.S. Copyright document #V3067P185 credit Joe Raposo.
