The community mural is a painted work on Sesame Street, located adjacent to the Bike Shop. The mural was created by the Sesame Street residents in Episode 5301, spurred by Grover's discovery of the blank wall with the intention of "[celebrating] the people in our neighborhood."
The mural depicts human characters Alan, Chris, Nina, and Charlie, and Muppet characters Big Bird, Snuffy, Ernie (with Rubber Duckie), Bert, Louie, Count von Count, Kayla, Zoe, Rosita, Oscar the Grouch, Slimey, Cookie Monster, Rudy, Julia, Abby Cadabby, Tamir, Tango, Elmo, Ji-Young, Grover, and Gabrielle.
A miniature version of the mural was crafted for Episode 5529 and was subsequently used as an auction item in Sesame Workshop's "Bid for a Brighter Future Online Auction."[1] The mural was recreated for the Sesame Street Learn & Play at the American Dream Mall.
