"Convincing John" is, appropriately enough, the theme song of Convincing John, sung by himself and the Fragglettes in the Fraggle Rock episode "The Preachification of Convincing John." He first sang this song as a way to convince Fraggles not to eat Doozer constructions. In one verse, he tells them if they eat Doozer sticks, they'll get a tummy-ache. He later reverses the song, to *encourage* the consumption of Doozer towers, "'cause the tower really wants you to."
He sang this same tune again in "The Secret of Convincing John," where its title was changed to "A Tiger and a Terror," reflecting the new lyrics meant to convince Wembley to stop wembling and be definite. The lyrics for this version were written by B.P. Nichol.
