Cookie Monster's Bake Sale is a 22-minute Sesame Street special, released on Max on August 10, 2023, and aired on the Discovery Family channel, followed by Oscar's Handmade Halloween, on October 22. The special stars Cookie Monster and celebrity chef Eddie Jackson, in which the pair hosts a food competition with a local track team while preparing a bake sale to raise money for their uniforms. Abby Cadabby appears as a guest judge, and other Muppet characters (including Telly Monster, Bert, Gabrielle, and Felix) assist at the bake sale.
The special was originally going to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23 during a panel with producer Andrew Moriarty, Elmo, and Cookie Monster.[1]
The special was followed by Cookie Monster's Bake Sale: Back to School in 2024 and Cookie Monster's Bake Sale: Block Party in 2025. Other reality-based specials include Oscar's Handmade Halloween and Elmo and Tango Holiday Helpers.
