Cookie Monster's niece (affectionally referred to as "Cookie Niece") first appeared in episode 106 of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.
Cookie Monster serves as her babysitter for the evening and must get her ready for bedtime, but she spends the show rambunctiously running around the studio and biting into various set pieces, studio controls, and more. She is eventually lulled to sleep by Rosita, armed with a bedtime story.
She made a return appearance in episode 210, taking over Cookie's controls while he looks for her backstage. She additionally appeared alongside her uncle on Sesame Street in a musical insert for Episode 5132. The two also appeared together in several of the 2022 "My Cookie Monster" episodes of My Sesame Street Friends.
She is repurposed from the Baby Cookie Monster puppet first used for the Sesame Beginnings series.
