Cordell Barker (b. 1957) is a Canadian animator who created occasional inserts for Sesame Street, including one about flies landing on a man's nose. (First: Episode 2364)
Beginning his career in 1974, Barker is is best known for writing, directing, producing, and animating the short The Cat Came Back (1988, National Film Board of Canada), which received an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Subject, and won 18 international awards. His 2001 short Strange Invaders earned another Oscar nomination.
Barker's other credits include commercials and additional animation on the 1985 short Get a Job.
