Cristina Abaroa, sometimes credited as Christina Abaroa, is a singer-songwriter who arranged traditional songs and composed new music for Plaza Sésamo, the Mexican co-production of Sesame Street. Born in Mexico, she is the sister of Alejandro Abaroa with whom she collaborated on her songs for the show.
She currently lives in Los Angeles, California, where she founded the production company Moon Moosic. She has worked on numerous projects as producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, production coordinator, musician, background vocalist and music copyist. She has recorded three albums of her own music, including one, CHAPIS which features childrens' music.
