Cristina Barretta on Muppets Tonight
Cristina Barretta is the wife of Muppet performer Bill Barretta. She made onscreen appearances as Johnny Fiama's date during "You and Me Against the World" in episode 212 of Muppets Tonight, and the song "Go Before You Go" in the video Elmo's Travel Songs and Games. She and Bill were also caricatured in Gene Barretta's "C in Space" cartoon for Sesame Street.[1]
Bill Barretta has often used the name Cristina as a paramour for Pepe the King Prawn in live or less scripted appearances (including on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and San Diego Comic-Con). Her name was mentioned again during the intro for "Ophelia" at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.
