Crystal is a young girl who appeared on Sesame Street during Season 16. She is described in her first scripted appearance as a "slightly defensive urban girl" who wears "Flashdance-type clothes."[2]
She introduces herself to David in Episode 1968 where she establishes that she's a great deal stronger than he is. She also appears in episodes 1970, 2005, and 2034. She was often seen in the company of Mario, who hangs on her every word.
