"Cubbies" is a Sesame Street song written for the album Getting Ready for School.
As Big Bird and Olivia enter his imaginary school, Big Bird imagines he has a lot of items to take in with him (such as his lunchbox, paper, his cowbird hat, his Newbird Magazine) and doesn't know what to do with them. Olivia tells him about cubbies, which he at first thinks are little bears who watch your things. She proceeds to sing a jazzy song about the purpose of cubbies (with some back-up singers).
