DJ Lobster is the deejay and emcee of the Food Rap Battle series. Donning a set of headphones, DJ Lobster rolls into Elmo's kitchen (with a cardboard cutout turntable) to help him decide what food he should eat and has two of them face off in a rap battle. DJ Lobster also appears in animated form in the "Fun in the Sun" rap battle videos.
A deejaying lobster was previously seen in Sesame Street Episode 4508.
The lobster appeared in "Jingle Bells and Seashells," performed here by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph.
